The Smithsonian Museum is the largest museum in the world hosting 19 museums and 9 research centers. The museum shares programs and artifacts with over 90 cultural institutions and around 20 states. The Smithsonian museum consist of (the National Museum of American History, National museum of African art, National Zoological Park, Anacostia Community Museum and many other facilities. Most of the museums have free admission and are open from 10:00am-5:30pm every day except for december 25.
